This module helped me understand how to turn research data into discussion and analysis in a clearer way. Compared to earlier stages, the focus was no longer on collecting data but on explaining what the results mean and how they answer the research question. I realised that this part of the process requires careful thinking about structure and logic, not just writing.
Based on the lecturer’s feedback, I revised my work several times. I needed to clearly state which research question each section answered and make sure all sources included the publication year. I also had to explain research methods in more detail instead of assuming they were already clear. These changes helped me see how important clarity and consistency are in academic writing. Writing the discussion was more difficult than I expected. It was not enough to describe survey results. I had to explain why the findings mattered and link them to visual design, emotion, and artistic intent. Using Inside Out, Coco, and K-Pop: Demon Hunters as case studies helped me compare different approaches and support my points with evidence rather than personal opinion. For the flipbook, I needed time to get used to Adobe InDesign again. Handling a long document and fixing layout details was tiring, but I gradually became more comfortable with the software. The article publication task was also challenging because of the word limit. I had to cut down many ideas and rewrite them in a shorter and clearer way, which forced me to think carefully about what was really important.
Lastly, I would like to thank my supervisor, Dr Jinchi, for her guidance and feedback throughout the process. Her corrections and reminders helped me improve my writing and better understand how to present my research clearly.
