TASK 4: Character Board Compilation

In Task 4, we were required to compile a character board. A character board is a curated visual and written reference collection that clearly communicates the design, personality, and identity of a character. The goal of this task is to organize all key information and visuals into a single, coherent board or document that others could use to understand or reproduce the character consistently.

Character Overview

In the final profile page, I referred to the official TGC promotional images to study how they presented the characters.

Drawing on this, I attempted to restore the official artistic style and designed a character display board for Kaya in the official style of Sky.

REFLECTION

This is definitely one of my favorite modules so far. From the very beginning, we were allowed to choose an existing world and slowly build our own character inside it — her personality, appearance, role, and background story. That freedom made the whole process very enjoyable for me.

Step by step, I developed Kaya from a simple idea into a complete character. I worked on her design, outfit variations, details, color choices, and finally the splash art. Throughout the process, I had discussions and feedback sessions with Mr. Anas, which helped me refine my ideas and improve the overall quality of the work.

What I enjoyed most was seeing the character grow and become more believable with each stage. This project made me realize how much thought and care goes into character design, and it confirmed my interest in this field. Overall, I truly enjoyed the entire process and felt very motivated while working on it.
